Key Stage 3

By the end of Key Stage 3 students will have the opportunity to:

  • Consider their own qualities, skills and academic potential
  • Discuss and understand the choices available to them at the end of Key Stage 3
  • Investigate the knowledge and skills required for work
  • Use self evaluation and action planning techniques
  • Have access to computerised careers information software

Some Events and Activities

    • Team Building and challenge days
    • The Real Game – career exploration day
    • Plan-it  - Computer based evaluation of where students are now, where they want to get to and how they are going to get there
    • Awareness raising visits to local industries
    • Ambitions Event – careers event attended by many local employers and education providers
    • Key stage 4 taster sessions

Our progressive programme allows students to accumulate the knowledge, understanding and skills with which to make future choices and decisions.
