Design & Technology has the central aim of developing the intellectual capacity and practical skills of the students through the process of designing and making products. The aim is that students should develop an interest in design, enjoy working with equipment and materials and develop confidence, adaptability and pride in all their work.
The Design & Technology Department is very well equipped with facilities for product design, graphics, textiles, food, and Computer Aided Design and Manufacture (C.A.D. and C.A.M.).
All students in Years 7-9 are currently working on the Key Stage 3 National Curriculum leading to Key Stage 4 GCSE and ‘AS’/'A2' level.
