Continuing Professional Development

  • As a Training School we take the professional development of all our staff seriously.
  • Colleagues regularly identify and discuss their training needs with their line manager;  this forms an essential part of the annual review process for support staff and Performance Management cycle for teaching staff
  • Needs are identified in relation to:
  1. Whole college needs, especially those identified in the college development plan
  2. The teams of the team(s) in which the individual works
  3. Individual needs linked to role and career aspirations
  • A wide range of opportunities – both formal and informal – are provided to meet these needs wherever possible.
