By the end of Key Stage 5 students will have the opportunity to:

  • Continue assessing their personal qualities and skills
  • Investigate career pathways
  • Explore courses in further and higher education
  • Attend a Higher Education day organised by the Student Centre
  • Visit a Higher Education institution
  • Understand the options to them at the end of their course, where to get information and how to apply.
  • Take part in a curriculum enrichment programme

Students are able to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to understand and grow as individuals, to explore the varied worlds of study, training and work and have the skills necessary to make informed choices and so manage their own careers.
