Weightlifting
This club runs after school from Monday to Friday and is open to all students from year 7 to 11, each session runs from 15.10pm for one hour. Students are taught how to lift correctly and all the techniques involved. In addition to this we offer cross fit training and cardio exercises to help improve the students cardiovascular fitness and muscular endurance and at the same time improves young peoples attitudes toward discipline, self control and patience.
These sessions are a great way for the students to vent any frustrations they may have and at the same time improves self confidence and self esteem. The additional skills gained at weightlifting has also had an impact on improving some of our students attitude to??learning.
